I’ve used many different brands of liquid chalk and Friction Labs Secret Stuff lasts the longest on my hands.
I'm an enthusiast indoor climber, climbing 4-5 times a week for the last 6+ years. Unfortunately, my hands are super sweaty and over the course of my climbing "career" I've tested tones of different chalks, powder and liquid.
Let me start by saying that this chalk is so overpriced and hyped that it's just ridiculous how they still manage to sell it.
It's 19$ for 75mL. I tried it before in an act of desperation to deal with my wet hands. It worked but I found that mammut version is superior and costs only 6$ for 100 mL.
Some dubious claims from the website:
1.) No drying agents: Alcohol is a drying agent
2.) No additives: And then you read the label that says for example citric acid
3.) Dairy free: Really, how about no BPA, peanuts, egg protein, mercury, it's not radioactive, etc...
4.) aha; it's gluten free and it's vegan.
Love this stuff, works super well in hot and humid environments when it seems as no other chalk will stay. Definitely going to keep buying this stuff
comes off, doesnt last between climbs or lifting.
I always use this as a base layer and am obsessed. It works so well.
